Biography
Dr. Dona Ghosh is a teacher, trainer, and business consultant with over a decade of experience spanning academia, capital markets, and industry engagement. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) at the Thiagarajar School of Management (TSM), India, where she has also held leadership roles, including Area Chair in Economics and General Management. She is also working as a Securities Market Trainer of the Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and National Institute of Securities Markets, India. Additionally, she has international teaching experience as an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Taylor’s University, Malaysia, and has served as a visiting faculty member at IIT Jammu.

Her academic and professional interests lie at the intersection of equity research, applied and behavioural economics, behavioural finance, ESG analysis, sustainability, and financial inclusion. She actively bridges theory and practice through extensive corporate training and consulting, working with institutions such as the National Stock Exchange (NSE), SEBI, NISM, and the NSE Academy, where she contributes as a securities market trainer, resource person, and research consultant. Alongside this, she advises firms across sectors, including transport services and pharmaceutical retail.

Dr. Dona Ghosh has mentored more than 50 industry-linked projects, including a UN–SDG health project, and was a Project Scholar at IIT Kharagpur for the Government of India–sponsored Ganga River Basin Management Plan. He is actively involved in scholarly publishing as an editorial board member and reviewer for several reputed international journals in economics, management, and public health.

His contributions to research and pedagogy have been widely recognized through national awards, competitive research grants, and fellowships from institutions such as the NSE, RBI, and the Ministry of Education (Government of India). Passionate about innovative pedagogy, analytics-driven decision-making, and socially responsible finance, he continues to work at the interface of education, markets, and sustainable business practice.
